La Casa Tabasco ha sido parte esencial en nuestro crecimiento. Hemos trabajado en ella un par de años siguiendo la evolución y necesidades de sus habitantes. Teniendo la misión de crear un mundo de sueños, de música, de invitar y entrar en un espacio místico. Uno de los primeros habitantes en llegar a esta casa fue un gran piano que tiene más de 100 años al igual que ella. Este elemento nos rigió a la hora de renovar completamente esta casa, de replantear la distribución de la planta baja y el flujo entre la cocina, la nueva extensión de patio y la conexión con las salas de estar. Tuvimos muy presente en el proceso de diseño respetar el paso del tiempo y hacerle homenaje a las cosas que se hacen artesanalmente y duran toda una vida.
The Tabasco House has been an essential part of our growth. We have been working on it for a couple of years following the evolution and needs of its inhabitants. Having the mission to create a world of dreams, of music, of inviting and entering a mystical space. One of the first inhabitants to arrive in this house was a grand piano that is more than 100 years old just like it. This element guided us in completely renovating this house, in rethinking the layout of the ground floor and the flow between the kitchen, the new courtyard extension and the connection to the living rooms. In the design process, we were mindful of respecting the passage of time and paying homage to things that are handcrafted and last a lifetime.
